The Lucky Three!
The winners of our €10,000 Christmas raffle prize pot came into the hospital today to receive their cheques. The lucky trio - from Naas, Portmarnock and Dundalk - have been buying our raffle tickets for many years and prove that perseverance does pay off!
The first place winner of €5,000 is Bridget Dunne from Naas who is photographed with her daughter, Marie Merriman. This was their first visit to the hospital and despite never having direct need of Beaumont's services, she has been buying our raffle tickets for many years and supports other hospitals also.
The second place prize winner of €3,000 is Kathleen Waters from Portmarnock who bought the ticket in her sister's name.
And drawn third in our Christmas raffle was Tom Keenan from Dundalk in Co Louth. Tom is a maintenance man in the Dundalk Counselling Centre and takes the Beaumont Hospital Foundation tickets regularly. He buys them with a view to possibly winning - that paid off for him! - but he has used the services of the hospital in the past so has a dual reason for supporting!
