People with Cystic Fibrosis will often spend long stretches in hospital as they battle the symptoms of the condition. Donor funding of €2,300 was used to fund an overnight bed/chair to accommodate family members of patients with Cystic Fibrosis who wish to remain with their loved through the night. The bed is in regular use on the unit and is a most welcome addition to suport services for family members.
