Following breast reconstructive surgery, it is best international practice to offer micro pigmentation to women. This is a non-surgical procedure similar to tattooing which completes their breast cancer treatment. This procedure leaves a semi-permanent pigmentation on the centre of the reconstructed breast, creating the shape and colour of the nipple areola.
Donor support has allowed us to fund the purchase of a second cosmetic tattoo machine to facilitate more clinics and to train two extra Breast Clinical Nurse Specialists to become trained practitioners.
