Amy Niland: Running in Memory of Her Sister Lisa

We are incredibly grateful to Amy Niland for dedicating her run in the Toronto Half Marathon this May to her beloved sister, Lisa Niland. Amy’s story of love, loss, and honoring Lisa’s memory is truly moving.
As Amy shares, "Lisa was a ray of sunshine in human form—full of love, kindness, and fun. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her quick wit and infectious sense of humor always had everyone laughing. She was the most beautiful person, inside and out."
Amy is running not only to keep Lisa’s memory alive but also to raise funds for Beaumont Hospital’s Richmond Ward—the place where Lisa received exceptional care during her final days.
The half marathon will take place on May 4th, 2025, just 12 days before what would have been Lisa’s 28th birthday. We encourage you to support Amy’s incredible effort by donating or sharing her page.
